Welcome back to a colder and wetter New Edimburg! Winter has finally set in after unseasonably warm temps.
Santa
will be back in town at the New Edinburg Community Center the 13-15th
at 6pm so let's bring the little ones to meet that jolly old elf and get
their wish list in with him!
Macedonia FWB Church will have its Christmas program on Dec. 16 at 6pm.
The New Edinburg Museum will be open on the 15th from noon until 4pm for the last time in 2012.
Here's hoping the Mayans were wrong.

December 3rd Edition

Birthdays this week include: Henry Jones - December 2, Jim Hearnsberger - December 3, Logan Sanders and Theresa Huddleston - December 6, Freda Green and Jean Warner - December 8.
Happy anniversary to Ronnie and Joanna McClellan - December 6.
Santa will be at the New Edinburg Community Center on Dec. 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, & 15th from 6pm until 7:30pm each night. Santa will be passing out goodie bags to the kids & kids can have their picture made with Santa. Also the night of the 8th , the center will be hosting a Community Christmas potluck dinner starting a 5pm. Everyone in the New Edinburg & surrounding areas are encouraged to bring your favorite dish of food and celebrate the season with a night of food, fellowship & the joy of the season. All you need to bring is a dish food. For more information call 870-510-6388.
Santa's appearance at the West Saline Community Center last Saturday afternoon was well received with dozens of children meeting that old elf and getting cookies, hot chocolate, and a picture of them with the Man. Compliments to all who helped and special thanks to you know who who did you know what.
