Smith Chapel Halloween Activities

Smith Chapel Church of God will host a Family Fun Day on October 31st from 10am to 3pm at the church's family life center (that's behind the church building). All families are invited, though children must be accompanied by an adult. There will be inflatable houses available as a play area for the kids, and games oriented for the whole family. Food will be on hand, and admission is free. Come and go as you please.

    WE ARE THE EAGLES is a great idea. Keep up the good work. People talk about "going back home", that means going to New Edinburg to me. We moved a lot when i was a kid. Fifteen schools in 12 years. I started first grade in 1950 at Springhill, LA, moved to Moss Point, MS at mid term and moved to Hollis Special a few weeks later and finished the first grade at New Edinburg. Nine years later we were back in town and I attended the first half of the 9th grade with the "Class of 1962" Enough! Say Hello to Jimmy and anyone else that remembers me. I'm NOT Anonymous, I'm John Stewart, wishing I was in New Edinburg.
