October 21st Edition

Birthdays this week: Barbie Trammell - Oct. 24, Ken Simmons and Betty Warner - Oct. 26, Jamie Weeks - Oct. 27.

The New Edinburg Spook House will be in the old school building on Oct. 26, Saturday, from 7pm to midnight.  Admission will be $2 per head.

Renee Smith threw a baby shower for her daughter Tameika at the West Saline Community Center last Saturday afternoon with over 70 attending. Tameika is due to deliver her first child in late November.

The NEHS Class of 1957 met at the home of John L. McClellan last Saturday with the following people in attendance: Rex Trammell, Marvin King, Aubrey Huddleston, James Lewis Atkins, Gene White, Betty King, Martha Jean Erwin Atkins, Louise Wolfe Commack, Norma Jean Thompson Hensley, Simone St. John Black, Olen Commack, Joe Simmons, John L. McClellan, Ouida Trammell Proske, Sarah Lisemby Rowland, Bertia McClellan Lassiter, Mongolia Erwin Beck, Faye Harris, Robbie Crutchfield White, Marnell Norton Clement, Kay Moseley Simmons, Martha Hamaker Cook, Tully McCoy, and Norma Reaves McCoy.
