Matthew 16:2-4 "2He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. 3And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? 4A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed. "

We're looking at yet another winter storm to come this week. I hope it's the last one of this season, and that Spring like weather will come in soon.
Norma Hensley spent some time in the hospital last week, but is home and doing better.
Mrs. Inez Word passed away last Tuesday in Fordyce at the age of 92 after spending the last year in St. John's Place. Miss Inez was a quiet person who kept to herself and was an active member of Mt. Lebanon church for decades. She was one of my Sunday school teachers and one of the best.
I'm hearing reports of scrap metal being stolen from remote places throughout the area. If you have a clue who is doing it, please contact the Sheriff's Office.
I had a good time visiting with Mr. Lee Jones yesterday; we recalled residents and events long past.
