Here's
hoping everyone had an excellent Christmas and New Year's Day!. For
those who live out of town... it snowed here. On Christmas night. How
about that. I can't recall another white Christmas (in New Edinburg) in
my lifetime and I was born in 1968. Debating this with Joye Splawn
last week, she remembered one sometime in the early 1970s, but I don't.
Renee Smith with family and friends celebrated her birthday December
30 at the West Saline Community Center with roughly 30 people
attending.
The New Edinburg Museum will be open for the first
time in 2013 this Saturday from noon until 4pm, so please feel free to
drop by. Admission is free.
Please
feel free to share items of interest with this column by Monday morning
for inclusion in that week's paper. My phone is 250-9103 and my email
is JamesCBoney@gmail.com. Go Eagles.
