Novemember 5 Edition

Huey Lodge #78 is hosting its annual Chili and Soup Supper on November 17 starting at 4pm.  The price is $7 per person whether you eat in or carry out.  Everyone is invited!

Macedonia FWB Church reports a great service last Sunday with Brother Billy and the (for now) privilege of hearing Lee Greenwood's "God Bless The USA."

By the time you read this, voting will be over as we theoretically elect our next President and decide other important issues. I guess you can tell from my wording that I don't have a lot of faith in the electoral process anymore.  Be more optimistic than I am... it's better for your blood pressure!

Tim Shaw died last Tuesday after a long illness.  Besides constructing probably 30-40% of the dentures in south Arkansas, he was well-liked and probably one of the sanest people I've ever met.
